How to spot a fake recovery firm.

After a theft, the next scam is often a fake recovery service. People impersonating us have used the names Jeffery Nimoy and Maximilian Nimoy. Here is how to tell the difference.

Warning signs

Disengage if you see any of these:

  • ⏵Unsolicited messages offering to recover your funds
  • ⏵Upfront fees before any work — we are paid only from recovered assets
  • ⏵Email addresses that are not @elliptic-enterprises.co.uk
  • ⏵People claiming to be advisers who are not registered with FINRA or any regulator
  • ⏵Requests to move funds or take hostile actions during a screen share

How to verify us

Our only legitimate email domain is elliptic-enterprises.co.uk. Contact us first through this website. We may then continue on WhatsApp — but only after verifying you by email.

Been approached by an impostor?

Report it to us so we can warn others and pass details to our law-enforcement partners.
